インターネットサービスプロバイダー「OCN」の光回線サービス接続機器（ルーター）の設定がスマホから行えるOCN会員向けアプリです。

OCN光回線サービスに新規加入された方や引っ越し、サービスのアップグレードに伴い新しいルーターに変更になった方、機器のなんらかのトラブルにより初期化を行いインターネットの接続設定を行う必要がある方はご利用ください。（問題なくインターネットが使えている場合は本アプリを利用する必要はありません）。

なお、本アプリの利用にはスマホとルーターの両方でWi-Fi接続できる機能が必要になります。

■このアプリが行える設定

・スマートフォンとルーターをWi-Fi（無線）で接続する設定

・Wi-Fiで接続したルーターへのOCNのインターネット接続設定（PPPoE方式）

■このアプリの特徴

これまで個人向けOCN光回線サービスの機器設定を行うソフトウェアはWindowsパソコンからしか利用できませんでしたが、このアプリでは基本的なインターネット接続設定がスマホで完結します。

そのため「インターネットの設定をしたいのに、パソコンがインターネットにつながっていないからソフトがダウンロードできない！」という状態に陥ることから解放されました（アプリインストールの際にスマホのインターネット接続は必要です）。

インターネット接続設定の前にルーターとスマホとの間をWi-Fi接続する必要がありますが、このアプリではスマホのWi-Fi設定を行う仕組みもあります。

ただ、ルーターメーカー各社さんもWi-Fi設定を簡単に行う仕組みを提供していますので、Wi-Fi設定については本アプリを使わず、ルーターメーカーさんのものを利用いただいてもよいかと思います。

その場合は本アプリのWi-Fi設定はスキップして、ルーター設定のみを行ってください。

■設定可能なルーターについて

日本国内で提供されている数百種類のルーター設定が行えます。

設定が完了できない場合はルーターの再起動やWi-Fi接続の確認を行ってください。

上記メーカーの全機種、全ファームウェアバージョンがこのアプリからの設定に対応できているというわけではありません。

ルーターの状態やスマホのメモリ状況などにより、アプリが意図せず終了する場合があります。

なお、ルーターからの反応やインターネット接続の確立に時間がかかってしまうため、設定中は複数回、数分以上待つ必要がでてきます。

とても心苦しいのですが、設定中はルーターのランプ点灯状況を見ながらお待ちいただけると、設定が進んでいる具合が多少は確認できます。

※設定の途中でルーターの電源を切るなどしてしまうと機器の故障の原因になるため、設定中はルーター本体には触れずランプ状況を見るだけにとどめてください。

もし、設定が完了できない場合は本アプリを使用せず、設定ガイドやルーターの説明書などをご覧いただき、スマホのブラウザーから設定を行ってください。

なお、ルーターメーカー各社さまは本アプリとは一切関係がありません。

■今後の機能追加について

現在のバージョンではインターネット接続設定まわりに機能を絞って提供しており、アプリの名前からすると機能が少なすぎると感じられると思います。

ゆくゆくはルーター設定以外のサポート機能や困った時に便利な情報の提供、扱うサービスも充実できるようにしていきたいと考えています。

まだ至らない点もあるかと思いますが、改善を重ねていきたいと思います。どうぞ、よろしくお願いいたします。

An application for OCN members who can set up the optical network service connection device (router) of the Internet service provider "OCN" from a smartphone.

If you are a new subscriber to the OCN optical line service, moved, changed to a new router due to a service upgrade, or if you need to initialize and set up an Internet connection due to some trouble with the equipment, use this service. (If you can use the Internet without problems, you do not need to use this app).

To use this app, you need a function that allows you to connect to both smartphones and routers via Wi-Fi.

■ Features of this app

Up until now, software for configuring device settings for personal OCN optical line services could only be used from a Windows computer, but with this app, basic Internet connection settings can be completed on a smartphone.

Therefore, it was released from falling into the state that "I want to set up the Internet but my computer is not connected to the Internet and the software can't be downloaded!" (Internet connection of the smartphone is necessary when installing the application).

Wi-Fi connection between the router and the smartphone is required before setting the Internet connection, but this app also has a mechanism to set the smartphone's Wi-Fi.

However, router manufacturers also provide a mechanism to easily configure Wi-Fi settings, so you can use the router manufacturer's ones for Wi-Fi settings without using this app.

In that case, skip the Wi-Fi setting of this application and perform only the router setting.

Hundreds of types of routers provided in Japan can be configured.

If the setting cannot be completed, restart the router or check the Wi-Fi connection.

Not all models and all firmware versions from the above manufacturers are compatible with the settings from this app.

Depending on the status of the router and the memory status of the smartphone, the app may terminate unintentionally.

Since it takes time for the router to respond and establish an Internet connection, you will have to wait several minutes or more for several times during setup.

Although it is very painful, if you can wait while watching the lighting status of the router lamp during the setting, you can check the progress of the setting.

* If the router power is turned off during the setting process, it may cause a malfunction of the device. During the setting process, do not touch the main unit of the router.

If you are unable to complete the settings, please do not use this app, but refer to the settings guide or router manual, and make settings from your smartphone browser.

In addition, each router manufacturer has nothing to do with this application.

■ Future function addition

In the current version, we offer functions around the Internet connection settings, and I think that it seems that there are too few functions from the name of the app.

Eventually, I would like to be able to provide support functions other than router settings, provide useful information in case of problems, and enhance services.

I don't think there are any points yet, but I would like to make improvements. Thank you very much.
